Word FILLED Wednesday: His Likeness...

I sort of chant "slow to anger, abounding in love" to myself these days. My dear, Sweet Boobahs do not like to be told NO and made to obey...big surprise. Since having these children, I have discovered that my selfishness produces a very nasty anger problem. It makes me miserable.

Oh, I want to be like my Lord...slow to anger, abounding in love!

Do you chant any helpful verses to yourself during the day?

Do you make the pictures with Scripture on them for these or do you find them on a site somewhere? They're lovely.

I do often remind myself that "love covers a multitude of sins" when the irritants of living with other humans gets to me, and when facing something I don't feel up to, I often think "all grace...all sufficiency...for all things" from II Cor. 9:8.

And so as a mom should be to her child. Great verse and reminder.

Thank God that He doesn't do the same to us as we do to our children when we're frustrated! I don't think I'd like God yelling at me too much. LOL!

God is so unlike us... isn't He?

You'll make it, Mom. Your kiddos won't be young forever. :~D

I love it.....I should have had it above my desk in my last years of grade teaching when the pain would sneak up and I would yell....oh where was that normally soft nice teacher......
Speak quietly....dead quiet..it scares them much more.......LOL.

But the one I chanted after being prayed for ...maybe less than wisely one night at the prayer meeting....and I walked through the late night supermarket....there is therefore now no condemnation, there is there......etc.......and brushed the tears away..just as well it was deserted....almost
