Ever feel like you get to the end of the week...and you start to say, "Phew, finally this long week is over..." AND then you realize..."Oooo...this weekend is going to be a doozy!" Yeah...well, perk up the coffee pot. I'm ready!
Oh, to quickly answer Michelle's "favorite obscure bible story" question. Um, I love when a villain "gets what's coming to them!" Yeah, I cheer LOUDLY when watching movies, etc. HA! So, I like 2 Kings 9...where Jezebel gets thrown down by the eunuchs. I can just hear her evil "EEEKKK"...thud! She'd had it coming for a long time...proven by the fulfilled prophecy of Elijah, "On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs will devour Jezebel’s flesh. Jezebel’s body will be like refuse on the ground in the plot at Jezreel, so that no one will be able to say, ‘This is Jezebel.'" Yeah, I don't think people realize how very VIVID the Bible truly is!
Tonight is date night...and I'm secretly working on a date night game. We LOVE going to bookstores...and I saw this idea "You Wanna Be My Bookworm?" Actually, I've gotten a lot of good ideas from The Dating Divas. Most take a little bit of planning...but it's worth it.
Tomorrow I'm starting a date swap scenerio with some good friends. We will swap every other month with them...for FREE. After doing this once before...I'm wiser this time around. Just us Mom's are switching houses. I'm going to her's and being the babysitter (and vice versa.) That's much MUCH easier than having them come to your house, figuring out bedtimes, etc etc. And honestly, for me...one of the greatest perks to babysitting is having the kids in bed, ASLEEP, when I get home. Nothing says, "Adios Romance" like putting kids to bed. Ugh! I can do that EVERY night...without a babysitter. Because we still wish to go out every month we plan to pay for a babysitter on the off months. BUT...do the math...that cuts the babysitting budget in half! *Yeah*
Well, today is happy errand day...where I sum up every ounce of remaining energy and do errands with the kids. The really fun ones (NOT)...bank, ups store, etc. We'll end up at the library...and I have a book on hold (oh, the free thrills of a library card holder)! Phew....I need another cup of coffee...and a good hot shower!
Ready, get set, GO!!! Love (and caffeinated energy) to ya'll this weekend!

I thought of the Jezebel story too. I love the date night swap. I wonder if I can convince some friends of mine to do this. I'm on my way to check out the Dating Divas, but wanted to let you know that if you check out Wednesday's post I left a nice bloggy award for you there.
we did the date switching too,so much more helpful to know kids are taken care of and you don't have to pay for it. you should find a second friend to do it with too, so that the off months are taken care of too. granted you'll have to watch two families kids, but it's free. :-)

I'm rejoicing with you!!! Date night swap is a terrific idea. Good on ya, my friend. ღ
Um, yes, I totally and completely get the "oh-it's-Friday-I-can't-wait-to-rel...OH MY GOSH THIS WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE SO BUSY I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO BE ABLE TO SIT DOWN.
Love the date swapping idea!!! It makes much more sense to do it at the kids house!!!
