Memory Monday...Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJ

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called,
Wonderful,
Counselor,
The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
And of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end."

Some of my punctuation was off. I used shall instead of will...and added THEs were they shouldn't be. My biggest problem...is knowing Handel's Messiah too well!

Some deeper study....I used the Webster's dictionary...

Wonderful- exciting wonder; unusually good. Also, marvelous and admirable.
Counselor- giver of advice.
Mighty God- the sovereign Creator characterized by great power.
Everlasting Father- a man who has begotten a child who is lasting or enduring for all time.
Prince of Peace- the ruler of the state of tranquility and quiet. Giver of freedom from oppressive thoughts or emotions. Monarch of harmony is personal relations.
