Foodie Friday: Taco Soup

Brown 1 lb. hamburger with 1/2 fresh minced onion and 1-2 cloves garlic. Add 1 package taco seasoning. Put meat mixture into crockpot.
Add 1 can corn (or fresh frozen), 1 can black beans, 1 can chili beans, 1 can diced tomatoes, and 1 small tomato sauce (8 oz).  Simmer and add paprika, red pepper and chili powder to taste.
Simmer for ~2-3 hours.  I use the LOW setting.
Serve with cheddar cheese, corn chips and a dollop of sour cream.  I also included lettuce...for leafy greens!

This sounds outrageously delicious! I bought chicken tortilla soup at Costco this week. Not bad, but your homemade version sounds so much better!
