Auld Lang Hodgepodge!

1. What three words would you use to describe 2010?
Painful, Growth, Stretching

2. If fear were not an issue what is something you'd like to try?

Skydiving...ya know, if I wasn't afraid of falling from heights!  I've heard it's beautiful...floating through the clouds.  At this point...I'd be screaming and don't think I'd notice!

3. What do you add to your coffee or tea?

Coffee - and a splash for creamer.  Actually...I've been drinking it black a lot recently...the creamer tastes funny for some reason.

4. What historical sporting event would you like to witness?

I am NOT a sports enthusiastic...I know, I know and I live in America...I guess, I'd enjoy one of the past Olympics with Mary Lou Retton or a World Cup Soccer game.

5. What is one piece of advice you would like to give your sixteen year old self?

You can afford to be gracious to everyone. (this advice was actually given to me by my HS art teacher...and he was right)

6. Are you a planner or do you prefer to fly by the seat of your pants?

Planner extraordinaire!  HAHAHA!  No, really... the whole "flying by seat of pants" thing makes me tense just thinking about it.  I LOVE structure and order!!

7. What is one thing you are looking forward to in 2011?

Planting a great veggie garden!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

Have you ever noticed that when you start to organize one area...that pretty soon you find yourself up to your ears organizing something in another area....and wondering...how did I get here?  One leads to the other, I guess.

I'm totally with you on the skydiving thing - first, someone would have to push me out of the plane and then - if I didn't faint - I would be in such a panic on the way down - it wouldn't be fun ;-)

Hopping by from Joyce's hop. Nice to "meet" you.
Skydiving? I've heard that it's fun--but I'll never find out for myself! LOL No way would I ever consider that one!!!

So glad you stopped by blog! I totally know what you mean in your random thought. I just finished my kitchen and bathroom and now I am itching to organize everything else. Too bad Christmas break is over!

Hi Bobbi! Thanks for visiting my blog!

What...no sports??? I lived on World Cup last summer!!! I can't wait for the women's series!

I did this for the first time this week.

I've often thought the same thing about organizing, or even cleaning -- one thing leads to another and it is hard to ever feel "done."

Sorry about the painful. I have to have something in coffee, I can't drink it black! I totally forgot about the Olympics, that would be fun. A garden sounds really nice. Yes I clean that way, can't just stick to one area and make a big mess in each room. Very nice to meet you and thank you for stopping over today.

I am right there with you on the organzing thing. My sister calls it "If you give a mouse a cookie" syndrome because you go from thing to thing to thing and eventually return to what you were doing, but don't find it very productive. It's just a huge cycle.

Well, bet we'd get along like "two peas in a pod with all our structure and organizing." :o)

So enjoyed stopping by and reading your answers. Blessings to you!

So agree with you on the skydiving! Screaming and wetting my pants would definitely NOT add to the experience!

I picked sky diving too. I love the advice your HS art teacher gave you. That is so true. I enjoy gardening but do it on a small scale. So looking forward to spring. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, SusanD

I agree with your number 8. Seems I start a lot of things, but then never seem to get any of them finished.
